Junttan pile driving rigs can be transported without special arrangements in one piece, thanks to their small transport dimensions, and without having to remove the hammer. State-of-the-art technology is used in the design of Junttan's piling rigs. The low centre of gravity, expandable tracks and movable counterweight ensure excellent rig stability and allows greater leader inclinations for raked piling. When equipped with suitable accessories, Junttan pile driving rigs can also be used to install pre-drilled and driven as well as driven cast-in-situ piles.

Strict attention has been paid not only to the efficient operation of the rig, but also to the safety and comfort of the operator and to the ease of service and maintenance. Junttan pile driving rigs are friendlier to the environment and more practical than conventional diesel hammers and mechanical piling rigs, as they generate less noise and reduce vibration and harmful emissions. A further advantage is the option to use biodegradable oils in the rig’s hydraulic system.

PM 16

PM 16 is the most compact Junttan piling rig designed for pile driving where piles are lighter and shorter. The rig can be used for driving timber, concrete and different types of steel piles. The recommended hammer ram weight is from 6,600 to 8,800 lbs (3 000 to 4 000 kg) and the maximum pile length is 59 ft (18 meters). The rig has proven productivity due to excellent mobility, easy and fast handling of piles and top pile driving performance with Junttan hydraulic hammers. An optional side drill or vibrator hammer makes pile driving even more efficient in some soil conditions. With optional Junttan equipment, optimised working set-up of the rig can be easily achieved.

This compact and agile Junttan piling rig has the same proven features as the heavier Junttan machines. Its rugged design makes it a safe and reliable rig even in the most demanding working conditions. The self-erecting leader and many advanced technical features ensure that the rig is ready to work in just a few minutes. The ergonomic and safety tested cabin allows the driver to concentrate completely on his work. The expandable tracks and low centre of gravity make the rig exceptionally stable in different working situations. The horizontal movement of the leader ensures fast spotting of the pile. Junttan PM 20

PM 20 is a compact piling rig for driving timber, steel and concrete piles, and combines lightweight construction with the capacity for heavy-duty pile driving. The recommended hammer ram weight is from 8 800 – 11 000 lb and the maximum pile length is 66 ft. The rig has proven productivity due to excellent mobility.

Junttan PM 23 is a special piling rig designed for job sites where a long leader reach is needed. It is an ideal rig such things as bridge, port and railroad job sites. PM 26 is a multipurpose piling rig for heavy-duty work. However the rig is still one of the lightest and most efficient in its category.
